Careers in Biotech after Graduation:
After a B.Tech or a B.Sc.in biotechnology there are various opportunities for students in India , You can either go for higher studies like M.tech, M.Sc. or PhD degrees for improving your skills and up gradation of your degree or you can go for jobs in the biotech companies, research institutes ,Pharmacy companies ,even universities and colleges.
IIT JAM is the entrance exam conducted by IITs for its two year M Sc course in physics, geophysics, mathematics, biotechnology, geology, mathematical-statistics, chemistry and computer applications .Apart from JAM , you have other major biotech exams which are equally good like you have IISC (Bangalore), TIFR (Mumbai),AIIMS (Delhi), MKU (madurai), JNU, AMU .Earlier it was a big question of my life as i was totally confused about what to do after BSc. like it happens with lot of students nowadays, then without wasting much of time i decided to prepare for IIT JAM exam.As i was a botany graduate i had a option of M.Sc. in Biotechnology. The Biotechnology (BT) test paper comprises of Biology (44% weightage),Chemistry (20% weightage), Mathematics (18% weightage) and Physics (18% weightage) and oppurtunities after MSc. are very good .you can go for research or you get placed in the companies that visit the campus.

Again a question arose in my mind how to prepare for it because IIT itself is a known name and preparing for it on my own is very difficult ,i searched a lot for coaching for biotech entrance then all my queries came to end when i visited Trajectory Education.i personally feel it is the best coaching for iit-jam.

All the lectures given by IIT experts and the Study material for iit-jam biotech provided by them got me through the exam.In this article i will be discussing how to get through IIT JAM exam.firstly i started with biology part then moved on to chemistry and at last i went through mathematics and physics. A student appearing for it has three choice of courses to opt from:
M.Sc. Biotechnology (IITB, IITR)
M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree in Biotechnology (IITB)
