Project Runway: Meet the Cast of Season 4
The Bravo network’s reality television series Project Runway recently announced the premiere date of the show’s fourth season, getting fans stoked for more of their favorite fashion-oriented competition. And furthermore, the cast list for the show’s new contestants has been released, presenting 15 names and biographies detailing the backgrounds of the latest hip hopefuls. Show judge and fashion veteran Tim Gunn stated that he considered the new group to be one of the most talented batches of fashion designers they’ve had so far, when considering the judging criteria of execution and point of view. The competitors for season 4 have been described as being well-educated, with a lot of them having earned degrees in design and other closely associated fields.
The youngest member of the fashion-minded crew is a 21-year-old native of Annapolis, MD named Christian Siriano. He has studied at the Baltimore School for the Arts, as well as the American Intercontinental University found in London. Siriano has stated that his favorite fashion designers and inspirations in the industry are Westwood and McQueen, and that his choice for fashionable clothing to wear is a good-looking blazer or jacket. On the other hand, the oldest competitor of the fourth season is a couple of decades ahead of young Christian.
Kathleen Vaughn, also known by the moniker “Sweet P,” is a 46-year-old lady hailing from Los Angeles, California. She studied at the Los Angeles Trade Technical College, and she has a number of favorite fashion designers whom she looks to for inspiration. Among them are John Galliano, Marni, Prada, Phillip Lim, Chloe, and Balenciaga. Her choice of fashionable wear is a more straightforward dress. Sweet P is also the oldest contestant in the race to fashion dominance. The rest of the cast have varied degrees, such as Architecture and a Master of Arts in Combined Media, as well as having studied at places such as Paris and Italy.
